i’ve had a couple of collections before…that were all gone by now. 
i remember my aunt from germany always brought us these eggs when she’s having a visit in the philippines…and i’ve got a couple more when she went hong kong last january. good enough, you can also find them in groceries here in hong kong, but they’re the ones manufactured in argentina as oppose to the originals which were from germany.
and now…he can join the crowd!
i haven’t cooked any real meal for today. i even hardly get out of my room…only for spaghetti dinner in a cheap fastfood called ‘cafe de coral’ over the next block…where i feel a little obliged to go to ’cause it seems like i owe something in this food chain that have served as a lunchtime lifeline for me and a colleague last year…
blame alias season 3…had a marathon. i’ve watched about six episodes in a row! plus the latest episode, ep14, of prison break after its very long tv disappearance. and now i’m about to watch the latest episode of lost. so many amazing shows, too little time to watch.
the email notice says that the relocation will start at 4.30pm…so before the moment that people will be walking around the office rushing you to move, i immediately transfered all my things which is nothing more than some pile of trash and scratches. after setting up the computer, i learned that there is still no network in my new area! alas! instant break….:-) so now, i’m here in starbucks, grabbed a frap…using this free internet….
anyway, later, i’ll be attending a ma-jong party. dinner and then ma-jong… though i don’t have a slight idea on how ma-jong works…maybe i could just leave early…and then head to lan kwai fong…i don’t know…
bye for now, my 20-minute is up. 
today, i left office at about 6.30pm and headed to mong kok. now is the last day i can redeem a 100-hkd-dollar coupon courtesy of pccw…it’s from one of their promos awhile ago when i subscribed for their broadband cable service. so, i hurriedly catch the mtr to kowloon ’cause the redemption center will only be open until 7.30pm. they needed an ID, and i used my hong kong id for the very first time!

anyway, i also bought a tripod in mong kok! i do not always go by that area…and since i’m there and i’ve been haunting like weeks for tripods..i looked around shops and found a velbon. i got this one for 320 dollars…a little expensive by my standard but i think it’s a good investment. i just tested it a little now…and i’ll post some pics when i got the chance to use it outdoors. i’ve been planning on taking pictures of nice buildings and architectures in central…i’m eyeing on this ifc2 and bank of china tower…maybe some time…byt the way, it also looks funny because my camera is so small compared to this tripod. |
just got home from a steak dinner at the peak sponsored by a high-ranking official from the manila office…then, they wanted to see what our living environment is like…well, i know they’ll be visiting hong kong today but i never knew they would be interested in peeping our area! so it was really a good thing i did some cleaning yesterday…that was really a saving grace…or else, they could have seen hell turned upside down.
one more thing, we’re going to have a new office seating arrangement soon. i saw the seat plan. read my mind…
yeah, i’m living in a service apartment and they have like 3 times a week of housekeeping…but it’s more of a ‘housepassing’ ’cause they just pass by, literally. 60 seconds at most. so i cleaned the whole room today…from the dress closet to the fridge. quite exhausting but relived ’cause it’ll now be easier to locate things! unfortunately, i still can’t see the stylus i lost last year…:-( anyway, i’ll sleep early tonight..to prepare for a whole new week of work adventures. ciao!
just came home from lkf. it was really fun going out with the crowd again. we had a quick dinner and head to a club/bar called edge. we’re actually supporting a friend , alex, who plays bass guitar for the ‘luke chow band’. the show was really cool! i like their music. it’s kind of alternative… i also happen to meet the band’s drummer, mike, he’s a filipino.
so, tired and sleepy now… gotta go. still early tomorrow, later actually… for the laundry.

i don’t believe in predictions/horoscope thingy, but i read them anyway. few months ago, i’ve read about this forecast for people who were born under the year of the pig. how their luck would turn out in this canine’s year. the prediction was very very financially favorable.
…but things unfold differently. it was just appalling… it seems that there has been a slight depreciation of my technical valuableness. if you know what i mean, hence, my purchasing power dropped. if it would be a graph, it’s a complete declination! 
how could they just swerve like that?
whoooah!! ‘have just finished watching episode 21 of alias season 2 (yeah, i know, i’m so left behind)…i’ve never appreciated alias before like this! down on my last episode tomorrow. …saving the best for last…
the reason why i like cold weather, other than it just feels good, is that i don’t have to iron my clothes for work. i just put on a jacket on top and i’m done!
