my dear readers, it’s time for another round-up of what’s going on lately in my ever exciting (not!) life. as you’d probably observed from previous posts, i’ve decided to take a shot at studying photoshop. although i don’t really want to overdo my edits to make pictures unrealistic, i just want to tweak my photos so they are more clean, and have more viewer impact. so after a week of studying, i can say photoshop is not very simple and i suppose editing one picture a day is a good practice, and that’s what i’m trying to do now. the other night, i was trying to find some pictures from st. paul, and i just couldn’t find them..then i realize i probably have them in my harddrive which died months ago, which sucks because i really treasure all photos i took everywhere i go..and i just lost it. i’ll try to have the disk checked by an expert, but i know i have low chances.
anywho, there has been a change in swimming schedule too. i now swim mandatory on mondays and wednesdays. fridays and weekends are optional, and this is actually a cutdown as i used to swim 3x a week before (now it’s just twice). i think i have to have more time doing other things like studying .NET and okay, i’ll be honest, playing computer games. haha. i will probably run at least twice a week during tuesdays and thursdays. and for reasons that i don’t really see any significant change, i’ve decided to stop dieting. i’m not saying i’ll devour every food my eyes laid on, but let’s just say that i increased my consumption of food a bit.
meanwhile, i’m very happy to have arranged some travel plans for next month when my mom and sister will be coming over. i haven’t seen them in 18 months, and i applied for holiday at work so i can spend more free time with them. my sister will be staying in town for a week, and my mom for a full month until july. i know i’ve been here in singapore for 8 months now, but it’s humiliating to say that i haven’t been to a lot of touristic places around, in fact, i haven’t been to the renowned sentosa island, nor did any of the famous aquarium worlds or night safaris (boo!!), but i’ve seen the merlion of course and the durian building (yey?!).
everything at work is the same.
