Angénieux retrofocus

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

i’ve been using the “wide” lens often due to space constrictions..although the quality is a bit impaired, intense vignetting and the actual sides of the lens being visible, i still find it very useful to take a bigger angle.

i have 2 adapter lenses, remnants from fz50. one is a wide, and the other is telephoto lens. by experiments, i’m surprised that inverted telephoto gives me a wider picture than the wide adapter! and because of that, i’ve been using the inverted telephoto lens much..

a bit curious about the effect, i found out that a lot of wide lenses are actually inverted telephoto lenses. :)
