i stayed at home last sunday ‘cause i knew then it was sto.niño day’s parade, meaning a chance to take pictures right from inside our home, literally!
it has been a murky-sky-drizzle-patches parade, so pictures appeared to be dark, but nonetheless, these people are really happy people! dancing from the beat of the drums, tossing their own sto nino icon, each dressed uniquely. ‘nuff said, pictures here -> http://yossarian22.multiply.com/photos/album/9
and for some reasons, i just love panoramic shots, because you get to see more, it’s easier to visualize what it is like to be in the picture. so i have one photo from the previous post. that was about 180°, taken right inside my mom’s/brother room. too bad the angle was not good so the shot wasn’t very much powerful. i was meaning to see a whole line of people from end to end of the streets, but somewhere in the middle the people disappeared and only a neighbor’s house facade was captured..because 1) my position (the camera) is too high, and 2) again, my position, is too close.
fyi, i don’t live in a barangay called brgy. sto. niño, if you’re wondering why there are banderitas along the street, it’s because fiesta here will be on the 24th. (it has just been a tradition that folks here dance during sto. niño day.)
